David Howard, Chairman
David has a City background with more than 25 years experience in a variety of insurance classes including reinsurance, political risk and professional indemnity, and in running a group of companies specialising in these sectors. He has brought this wide experience to lead and expand Lothbury UK Ltd.
David King
David has specialised in Professional Indemnity and related insurances for more than thirty years. He has particularly provided specialist assistance and services to other insurance brokers and intermediaries through his previous employment. He has always been keen to cement relationships with nationwide brokers in the UK as he fully understands their needs and where they require terms for their own or their clients´ insurances.
Michael Boult
Michael has been involved in the Lloyd´s and Companies markets for thirty years, specialising in Professional Indemnity covers, dealing directly with clients and various insurance intermediaries through his previous employment with long established Lloyd´s brokers. He has particular expertise in the needs of the accountancy profession for solutions in this field.
John Fowler
John has been an insurance professional since 1953. His vast experience and knowledge of many Non Marine classes of insurance is helping to expand Lothbury´s offerings in the sectors of Property and General Liability. Additionally, his extensive contacts both with clients and the underwriting markets make his contribution to our client-focused solutions-driven team invaluable.
David Burgess
David, has over 15 years broking experience covering all major classes of commercial insurance. Over the last few years David has gained specialised knowledge of Medical Malpractice insurance in particular for cosmetic surgeons both in the UK and overseas.
Brian Robson
Brian was group InsuranceManager for Alfred McAlpine for over 30 years and Director of their captive insurance company for over 20 years. During that time he evaluated risks relating to the subsidiary co's arranged insurance programmes to protect their balance sheets. He also dealt with claims made against the group as well as claims made by the group some of which went to mediation before settlement.
Sir James Vernon, Consultant
James has been involved with Lothbury since it's inception. James is a senior finance professional with a background in industry and the accountancy profession. He was until 2000 a partner with a national firm of accountants and business advisers, Grant Thornton.
Dominic Whitelocke-Winter, Director
Dominic is working on support administrative processes, as well as providing on-site IT support and training. Prior to joining Lothbury UK, he has had 18 years experience in the public sector, with about 9 years as an auditor, and the other 9 years as an IT infrastructure manager.
